Overview

PTFE+ consists of small particles of a slippery plastic resin (PTFE) suspended in a slippery water-based solution. The mixture prevents most insects from crawling on the applied surface. But keep in mind that it does not work for all insects or for all materials. Please test for compatibility prior to unsupervised use. 

Apply to the side walls of plastic or glass containers. PTFE+ dries within seconds to form a slippery film coating that climbing insects are unable to easily cross. Once they reach the coating, the insects will slip and fall back to the bottom. Under optimal environmental conditions, the barrier will remain effective for several months.

Non-toxic

The ingredients are, when dried, completely non-toxic. You will never have to worry about your ants well being.

How to Use

Apply PTFE+ to a clean, smooth surface. Oily, dirty, or textured surfaces may cause the PTFE not to work properly. Works best on glossy plastics, like acrylic. PTFE+ may require a heavier application on glass surfaces. 

Use a sponge, q-tip or a tool that allows for smooth coating.

Always allow PTFE+ to dry for 3-5 minutes before introducing insects. Heavier applications may result in cracks or unevenness in the film, and will take longer to dry. Never apply to an area which has already dried, and always try to avoid applying over the same area more than once. 

If the PTFE+ becomes ineffective, the non-working coating must be removedcompletely with a damp sponge or lint-free cloth before reapplying fresh PTFE+.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not smoke while using. Apply only in well-ventilated areas. Keep small parts and fluids out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not drink the fluid.
